The 2026 Mazda CX-5: More Space for More Life

Room for everyone. The 2026 CX-5 is all-new. Per Mazda USA, it’s about 4.5 inches longer than the previous generation, with increased rear legroom, knee room and headroom and a notably larger rear cargo area. Mazda also notes that a car seat fits in any of the rear seating positions. If you’re fitting car seats, carrying teenagers or picking up grandparents, you’ll feel the difference.

Elegance, elevated. The CX-5 wears the latest evolution of Mazda’s KODO “Soul of Motion” design. Inside, the cabin is designed as a calm, comfortable space for your drive and your day, with available ambient lighting and an available Bose® sound system.

Integrated innovation. The 2026 CX-5 starts with a 12.9-inch center touchscreen. An available 15.6-inch touchscreen is the largest ever offered on a Mazda vehicle, per Mazda USA. Google built-in brings hands-free help from Google Assistant and is included with your one-year Mazda Connected Services trial (subscription required after the trial). The 2026 Mazda CX-50: Designed with Nature in Mind

Crafted for capability. Mazda describes the CX-50’s handling as capable and connected, both on and off the road. Standard i-Activ AWD® works with Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive), so you can choose Normal, Sport or Off-Road mode, plus an available Towing Mode on 2.5 Turbo models. Per Mazda USA, CX-50 2.5 Turbo models can tow up to 3,500 lb with Towing Mode and a Genuine Mazda hitch.

Utility for any activity. The CX-50’s cargo floor is deeper than it is wide, designed to fit coolers, packs and gear lengthwise. The available Accessory Rooftop Platform is designed for kayaks, bikes and even pop-up tents, and the available Panoramic Moonroof brings the view inside. It’s made for a beach day at Sandy Point or a weekend on the Eastern Shore.

A seamless drive. The CX-50 comes with Alexa Built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay® integration. With the MyMazda App and a one-year Mazda Connected Services trial, you can locate your CX-50, start the engine and lock or unlock the doors remotely, per Mazda USA.
