The Mazda CX-30 is Mazda’s compact crossover SUV. Mazda says it brings together refined sophistication, convenient utility and comfort. If you want an easy-to-park SUV with all-wheel drive for trips around Anne Arundel County, here’s what the 2026 CX-30 brings.

Size, Space and Everyday Utility

The CX-30 seats up to five. Cargo space is 20.2 cubic feet with all seats up and up to 45.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. It has eight inches of ground clearance.

That compact footprint makes it easy to live with in a tight garage or a busy downtown Annapolis parking lot, while still giving you room for groceries, sports bags or a weekend’s luggage.

Standard AWD and Two Engine Choices

Every CX-30 comes with i-Activ AWD. Mazda says the system is always engaged and proactively watches for changes in wheel loads a driver may not notice.

  • 2.5 S models use a Skyactiv-G 2.5 engine with up to 186 hp.
  • 2.5 Turbo models add a Dynamic Pressure Turbocharger for up to 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel.

Both use a Skyactiv-Drive 6-speed automatic with manual-shift and Sport modes. G-Vectoring Control Plus makes subtle torque and braking adjustments for a smoother drive.

New for 2026: Aire Editions

The CX-30 lineup adds 2.5 S and 2.5 Turbo Aire Edition models. Both feature an exclusive white leatherette-trimmed interior, Black side mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels with a Black Metallic finish. The 2.5 Turbo Aire Edition adds a Black signature wing and Black roof rails. Other trims range from the 2.5 S to the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, including a 2.5 S Carbon Edition.
